What is Slotly?
Slotly watches your favorite spots for cancellations — and books the opening for you automatically. Popular spots book out fast, but cancellations happen every day. Other platforms send a notification and make you race to claim it. You usually lose.
Slotly is different. When a slot opens, it books it for you — automatically.
It works across salons, barbershops, men's grooming shops, boat clubs, and more. Connect your account or paste a booking page URL, tell Slotly what you want, and it runs 24/7 in the cloud until it gets it. You'll get an email the moment a booking is confirmed.
Add a Request
A request tells Slotly exactly what you're looking for. The fields depend on which platform you're connected to.
For salon appointments (Square):
- Service — Pick the service you want (e.g. Highlights, Blowout, Haircut)
- Staff — Choose a specific stylist or leave as "Any available"
- Date Range — The window of dates to watch
- Time Window — Optional earliest and latest time you'd accept
For boat club reservations (FBC):
- Date — The exact date you want
- Time Slot — AM, PM, Full Day, or Any
- Boat Preference — Optional. Leave blank for any available boat
For barbershops and men's grooming (Squire):
- Shop URL — Paste your barber's Squire booking page link (e.g. getsquire.com/book/your-shop)
- Barber — Pick a specific barber or choose "Any available"
- Service — The cut or treatment you want
- Date Range — The window of dates to watch
- Time Window — Optional preferred hours
- Preferred Days — Optional. Filter to specific days of the week
Watchlist (any other public booking page):
- URL — Paste the booking page link
- Alert — Slotly notifies you the moment a slot opens — you then book it yourself
Watchlist sends you an alert when a spot opens. Full automatic booking is available for salons and boat clubs connected through Slotly.
You can add multiple requests at once — one per date or service combination you want.
Start Watching
Once you have at least one pending request, hit Watch for Openings on the dashboard. Slotly will immediately check for available slots and keep checking every few minutes.
The status pill in the top-right corner turns green and shows Running while it's active. You can close the browser — Slotly keeps checking in the cloud.
Automatic Booking and Last-Minute Control
By default, Slotly books the opening the moment it appears — no action needed from you.
If you want to stay in control for last-minute openings, you can set a cutoff window. For example, if you set 24 hours: anything that opens more than 24 hours away gets booked for you automatically. Anything that opens sooner — Slotly sends you a notification instead, so you can decide if it still works for you.
This is useful if your schedule changes closer to the day.
Get Notified When Booked
When Slotly successfully books a slot, it emails your notification address with the date, time, service or resource, and confirmation details.
Your confirmed bookings also appear in the My Bookings section on the dashboard with full details.

Cancelling a Request or Booking
Cancel a pending request — click Cancel Request next to any active request in the list. This stops Slotly from checking for that slot.
Remove a booking from your list — click Remove from list next to any booking in My Bookings. This removes it from your Slotly dashboard only.
Cancel a confirmed booking — for salon bookings via Square, you can cancel directly from the dashboard and Slotly will cancel it on the platform automatically. For other platforms, log in to the booking platform directly to cancel.
FAQ
Does Slotly use my actual login credentials?
It depends on the platform. For boat clubs, yes — your login information is stored securely and is only used to make bookings on your behalf. For salons on Square, Slotly never sees your password — you simply grant permission through your Square account and can revoke it at any time. For barbershops on Squire, Slotly doesn't need any credentials at all. Your barber's booking page is publicly accessible, so there's nothing to store.
How often does it check for slots?
It depends on your plan. Free checks every 15 minutes, Starter every 10 minutes, and Plus/Unlimited every 5 minutes. On paid plans you can also select your preferred interval from your dashboard — useful if you want to conserve checks on lower-priority requests. See Pricing for full plan details.
What if a slot opens briefly then disappears before Slotly books it?
Slotly tries to book as fast as possible when it finds a match, but slots are first-come-first-served. If it misses one, it keeps checking and will grab the next one that comes up.
Can I watch for multiple dates or services at once?
Yes — add as many requests as you want. Slotly handles all of them at the same time. You can also watch multiple barbershops or locations simultaneously.
What is Watchlist and how is it different from connecting an account?
Watchlist lets you paste any public booking page URL — no account needed. Slotly checks it regularly and notifies you when a slot opens. You then go book it yourself. It's the fastest way to start watching a business that isn't on Slotly yet. Full automatic booking is available for salons on Square and boat clubs.
Do I need to keep the app open?
No. Once Slotly starts checking, it runs 24/7 in the cloud. You can close the browser entirely.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
Click Forgot password? on the login screen and enter your email. You'll receive a reset link within a minute.
Install on your iPhone
Open Slotly in Safari, tap the Share button, then tap Add to Home Screen. Slotly installs as a full-screen app on your home screen — no App Store required.
